Editorial on rural sovereignty for The Earth Issue
“ caves and shells become the natural destinations. The sublimity of caves is a reminder of the position of humans as guests of a temple, therefore challenging notions of anthropocentrism and inviting to be respectful and understand the norms of the space. The nacreous inside of shells, on the other side, show the complexities of an environment. The fragility of the surface intends to raise awareness on how human actions can have bigger impacts than expected.”
